Lise Duclaux ne donne pas gratuitement. La valeur de son syst\u00e8me d\u2019\u00e9change r\u00e9sulte dans le fait que vous devez rendre une usure. En signant l\u2019un de ses registres, vous contractez une dette. Elle vous transfert une responsabilit\u00e9\u2009; celle qu\u2019elle a elle-m\u00eame, comme artiste, contract\u00e9e avec le vivant et les formes symboliques. Vous ne venez pas d\u2019acqu\u00e9rir un produit interchangeable, mais d\u2019adopter une singularit\u00e9.<br \/>\nSon oeuvre est une attaque po\u00e9tique contre la r\u00e9ification de nos liens au monde\u2009; attaque fond\u00e9e sur une d\u00e9construction de la valeur des biens (substitution de l\u2019immat\u00e9riel \u00e0 l\u2019objet), des moyens d\u2019acquisition (remplacement de la transaction marchande par le don), et sur un d\u00e9tournement minutieux des formes vernaculaires du quotidien (slogans publicitaires, affiches, objets et proc\u00e9dures bureaucratiques). Sa m\u00e9thode consiste \u00e0 op\u00e9rer un l\u00e9ger d\u00e9calage avec les formes et dans les contextes o\u00f9 elle intervient pour cr\u00e9er une nouvelle image de l\u2019ordinaire. Elle veut \u201ccroire non pas \u00e0 un autre monde mais au lien de l\u2019homme et du monde, \u00e0 l\u2019amour ou \u00e0 la vie, y croire comme \u00e0 l\u2019impossible, \u00e0 l\u2019impensable qui pourtant ne peut \u00eatre pens\u00e9 (2)\u201d\u2009; elle veut croire aux possibles.<br \/>\nLise Duclaux cr\u00e9e des bulles d\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne, offre des occasions symboliques de partage, alloue des moments de r\u00e9pit et de surprise dans le d\u00e9roulement fr\u00e9n\u00e9tique du quotidien. En choisissant le vivant et la po\u00e9sie comme mati\u00e8re premi\u00e8re, elle replace le sensible au c\u0153ur du projet artistique. Son art ouvre des br\u00e8ches dans nos mani\u00e8res d\u2019\u00eatre de regardeur et de consommateur format\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Taking part in an exchange with Lise Duclaux implies getting involved in a kind of potlatch (1). Lise Duclaux doesn\u2019t give gratuitously. By signing one of her register, the participant takes out a loan. His commitment is similar to the one endorsed by the artist towards the living and the symbolic forms. The point is not to acquire an interchangeable product, but to take on a singularity.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Her work is a poetic fight against the reification of our links to the world. She strives to deconstruct a market-based value system by replacing something material with something immaterial, and by substituting a commercial deal for a gift. Her work subverts meticulously the vernacular forms of everydayness through adverts, posters, objects or bureaucratic procedures. By creating a slight discrepancy in the forms she uses and in the contexts in which she intervenes, she gives a new meaning to the ordinary. She wants <\/em>\u201cto believe not in another world, but in the link between man and world, in love or in life, in the impossible, in the unthinkable, which none the less cannot be thought ( 2)\u201d<em>. She aspires to believe in the possible. She creates oxygen bubbles, symbolic share opportunities and moments<br \/>\nof rest and surprise in everyday\u2019s frenzy. By choosing life and poetry as raw materials, she places sensitivity at the core of the artistic process.
